Scope
This policy covers the Ask Safely marketing website at www.asksafely.ai. For the Ask Safely product (web app, iOS app, and Android app), see the Assistant Privacy Policy.
What This Site Collects
The Ask Safely marketing website is a static site. Here is what it does and does not collect:
Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. Plausible tracks aggregate page views and referral sources — not individual visitors. See Plausible’s data policy for details.
Advertising attribution: If you arrive at this site from a paid advertisement, the URL may contain an anonymous click identifier (such as a Google Click ID) and campaign parameters (such as utm_source). If you click through to the Ask Safely web app, these parameters are passed along in the URL so we can measure which ads lead to real users. We load Google’s conversion tracking tag (gtag.js) in a restricted mode: all consent types are denied by default, ad click identifiers are redacted from network requests, and no cookies are set. Google receives only anonymous, cookieless pings used for aggregate conversion modeling — no personal data is transmitted.
No cookies. This site does not set any cookies.
No tracking cookies. No Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel. Fonts are self-hosted — no external font requests are made. The external scripts loaded are Plausible Analytics (anonymous, aggregate page view counts), Ahrefs Analytics (anonymous site-performance data), and Google’s conversion tag in cookieless, consent-denied mode (described above).
